Saga of the root canal

Saga of the root canal

Dentist again today.

Two lots of antibiotics and a shredded stomach, thanks to the antibitocs, the Xrays still show I have some of the infection around the root. GAH!! I really do not want to have to go to hospital to have this bugger cut out.

So he has redressed the tooth and shoved some medicine down inside it which should hopefully settle things down. The injection into my gum, hurt like a bastard. I nearly jumped off the chair into his arms. Which would have been slightly embarrassing, although i got the impression that the dental nurse would have thought that was hilarious.

For some reason the novacaine, makes my heart race like a freight train and at one point I could hear everything racing in my head, and although I couldn’t actually feel my nose, I had this phantom, ‘you have to scratch my nose’ thing going on. Which was irritating, because I couldn’t feel where the itch was.  So ended up mentally rubbing my nose like a fly had buzzed up there…or something.

Back in a week and a half and hopefully have the next bit done. Stupid thing is, before I had the tooth sorted I never had any issues with infections.

On a happy note. I have actually been clothes shopping today. Which as a low maintenance woman, normally fills me with dread and panic, which then ensues into ‘I am so fat, I need to lose weight, I look awful in everything, I look like a whale, depression’, sigh.

However despite not looking forward to it,  I actually enjoyed it! I bought myself a couple of nice soft V neck jumpers and a western style checked shirt and some T shirts and a couple of hoodies as well as socks and undies. I seem to have gone for a deep peach and cream theme lol. I am happy. Plus I had my hair cut and even styled it…with products no less **sound of people I know fainting**. This coming from a woman who lives in her wellies!

Which reminds me, mine stink at the moment, I think their letting water in, which kinda defeats the object of them being wellies really.

Been playing with my nikon trying to take a decent’ish shot of myself as I have got anything recent. I love this ‘Holga technique’. I think I likey and I normally hate pictures of myself!

Moo moo made me dinner at school, so no cooking for dinner, so just mountains of washing to sort out, and then a lady of leisure, in my fuzzy lounge pants, and a snuggle with Mr Hunky. Yup **nods**

About silvermaneuk

Known as Nicky Turner-Sterling at school, and married and became Field. Got divorced, now Turner-Sterling again. Married to Kristopher and kept my maiden name. Nicknames are Betty, Knickers or Nicky. I am a mom to 3 great kids. I have been diagnosed with CFS/ME & Fbromyalgia and I also have neurological problems. I am registered disabled. So I have good days and bad days. Sometimes really bad days, where I cant get out of bed. But I try not to let it hold me back, I have to work with my limitations, but after a long period of being bedridden I finally got back to working albeit part time. I seem to be constantly on a diet lol. I love photography, I love my computers, and often create digital art on it. I love to read, and I love to listen to music, passionate about photography. I love to travel and look at beautiful places.I love to mooch around shops (especially the £1 shop lol) and stuff. I love to bake and cook. Love my animals, have 4 small dogs,4 cats and 1, 8 year old pony. Spirit is my best friend, I trained him, so I could ride him for physio therapy, and trained him so I could ride with as low impact as possible. Riding helps my pelvis and hips. When I dont ride it affects my gait, and I can hardly walk, so it is an excellent form of physio therapy for me. It can also make me flare badly, so I have to get the balance right. He's bitless, barefoot and treeless, he really looks after me, and makes it possible for me to have my dream, and he gave me hope again. If my physio hadn't encouraged to to try horse riding for therapy, I probably would still be bedridden. A disabled rider can do it, with the right tools! and pace pace pace! I can talk the hind leg of a donkey and snore for England. I get bored very quickly, which means I tend to flit from one thing to another, or do more than one thing at once lol.
